“Being a family physician, I was fully aware of what it would take to live a healthy lifestyle. “I am 64 years old.  I had been a runner but, to my surprise, discovered that running wasn’t sufficient to protect against osteoporosis so I started doing weight bearing exercises at home.  My husband gave me a gift of three training sessions with Tony.  He had picked out Tony from a number of other personal trainers because he saw that Tony was very focused on each person he trained.  So I started working out with Tony when I was 60 and was immediately hooked. I have been with him ever since.  When Tony opened his own place, there was no way I wasn’t going with him. I asked him to be sure and save me a training time.

My goals were simple: consistently do strength training exercises to stave of osteoporosis and stay free of medicines; improve balance; and continue to be pushed to increase my strength.  With Tony’s help, I have met all these goals.  I went from being osteopenic to not being osteopenic; my balance is improved; and my arm and leg strength have consistently increased.

Tony’s support has been phenomenal.  He has a terrific ability to gauge how much and when to push me. Tony’s educational background in exercise medicine, his training credentials and his years of experience are a real plus.  On occasions when I have been injured (not because of any exercises with Tony) he has explained to me what was happening with my muscles, encouraged me and adapted my exercise regimen so I could heel and get back on track.  And at one point when I wasn’t recovering from an injury in a reasonable amount of time he gave me a gift of a massage, which got me back on track – truly above and beyond the call of duty!  Tony mixes up the exercises from one time to the next so the experience is never stagnant but always interesting and challenging. Transformation is an excellent facility with all the equipment I could ever need and the environment is great.  I am sure that I would never have gotten into a consistent (3x strength training per week) training regimen were I not working out with Tony; working with him pushed me to work out on my own to be ready for our next training session.
