Getting a bit vulnerable here today.
I didn’t think I could last much longer, but I am so glad I did.
I want to share with you a story.
I shared a while ago that I had been struggling with my own weight loss…never lost my 8 post having our daughter and then put an impressive 12 on over the pandemic, hello stress.
Yes, I know I am admitting that I, struggle too.
But I hit a number I had never been unless pregnant – very pregnant at that.
I felt like crap all the time.
Worried about what was wrong with me.
Clothes didn’t fit.
Then I literally pruned the stuff out of my life and just got focused on what was important.
I actually eased up in my workouts, focused on movement.
Focused Less Carb, Less Booze.
And the weight just started dropping. 10 was gone in a matter of weeks.
Then it stopped.
I have held at the same weight for literally a month, but today that finally changed.
But let me tell you about a MONTH of no change.
I wanted to quit.
I was frustrated.
I was doing ALL the things.
Did I mention I wanted to quit?
But I just needed time and CONSISTENCY.
Just like all things in life you have to commit and keep going.
I always coach my clients that just when they are ready to quit, it’s going to happen.
That is literally when the scale moves.
Trust the process.
I will admit seeing the same number plus or minus 2 was so frustrating but it happens to all of us.
I knew if I just kept doing what I know and what I coach my clients to do, it will happen, and let’s be honest, it’s not like I gained this weight overnight.
If you have been struggling, just know we all struggle.
Even health and wellness coaches struggle too.
Keep focused and committed to the process.
And remember results happen right when you want to give up.
Don’t give up and let me know if you need help.
