3 ½ C Oats
½ C Sunflower Seeds
½ C Pumpkin Seeds
½ C Wheat Germ
½ C Oat Bran
3 T Flax Seed
1 C Shredded Coconut
1 T Cinnamon
1 t Salt
1 ½ C Natural Peanut Butter
1 C Honey
4 T Butter, melted
16 oz Dark Chocolate Chips*
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9×13 inch pan with foil.
Combine the first 9 ingredients in a large bowl (oats to salt).
In a separate bowl, stir together the Peanut Butter, Honey and melted Butter. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Press mixture into the 9×13 inch pan and bake for 15 minutes.
*For Chocolate Chips:
- Sprinkle over the baked mixture and place back into the oven until melted (a few minutes). Spread melted chocolate evenly over the bars and cool.
OR
- Mix them into the batter before baking.
Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm. Cut into bars, wrap individually and store in the refrigerator.
