Excited to share this message with you today, when you think about your health and wellness goal, it’s always so much more than just a number on the scale.
Sure lots of clients have a number in mind and that would be great, but…
It’s a feeling
It’s health
It’s quality of life
It’s loving yourself
It’s being able to play with your kids or grandkids
It’s being active
It’s how you present yourself
I could go on.
Understanding the meaning behind your goal makes doing the work easier.
And if you don’t have your health what do you have?
We are really big on never feeling deprived.
But there is a balance to all things in life. We live in an era where anything you want is available.
Think about a caveman, he never knew when he was going to find food again.
We can literally push buttons on our phones and food shows up on our doorstep.
When you are working towards your health and wellness goal we need to truly understand what’s going on from the big picture.
Behaviors with food and alcohol, Macros nutrients, stress, and sleep are all important to understand.
Stress and Sleep are two of the most important items to address.
This impacts your hormones and put it this way if you are not sleeping and you are stressed out, it is nearly impossible to lose fat.
I share this because it is more than just killing yourself in workouts, we need to address your sleep, stress, and nutrition.
Once you understand what is motivating you the rest will fall in place, but it’s not just throwing some weights around.
