I don’t have TIME…
I use to say this on a daily basis.
I mean come on look at those faces?
But what I have learned is I had to get really clear on what was important to me.
Sounds selfish right?
Insert Mom guilt…
What happened is I started to understand that if I wasn’t clear on what I wanted how could I be the person I wanted to be on a daily basis to the people who mattered most?
I caught myself floundering…get up each day and by the end of the day feeling defeated, unfulfilled and I just checked boxes on a To-Do List that never ended.
It’s normal right?
This is just life.
I kept having this burning desire for more…more for myself and more for my family.
If I was going to show up each day and be the best for myself, the best for my kids, the best for my husband, the best for my clients – I HAD TO DRAW A LINE IN THE SAND.
I got clear on my vision, what I wanted, then I BELIEVED in what I wanted.
What steps did I need to take on a daily basis?
What did I have to PRUNE out of my life?
Most of us are overcommitted, overstressed and we listen to ourselves vs. talk to ourselves.
I encourage you to write down what you want.
Then ask yourself do you believe you deserve this desired outcome?
Do you have all the tools to achieve the desired outcome?
Here’s the best part, most of us don’t have the tools to achieve the desired outcome.
It’s ok.
It’s ok to ask for help.
I’m glad I did and I wouldn’t be where I am today without help.
Hope I got you thinking and would love to hear your thoughts.
