I want to start today’s message with gratitude. We are so thankful for all the support through COVID-19. The messages, phone calls, Steven and Miles helping us support everyone, leading virtual workouts and helping us rip our gym apart, clean it and put it all back together.
All the support has helped us continue to push forward.
This is no doubt the hardest challenge we have had to navigate and I am sure for you as well.
I watch and read relentlessly on what our safety measures need to be to reopen safely and what we can do to going forward to ensure our environment is safe.
Based on what we were seeing it looked like we would be part of the first phase in opening up the economy, but we learned yesterday that may not be the case.
I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to not know.
For some this may seem petty, its just a couple more weeks. We cannot thank everyone enough for sticking by us through all of this. It is humbling to say the least. This has been devastating to small business across our great country.
It will take small businesses a while to recover from all this, that is if they can hang on.
Small business is the fabric of our great State. As a born and raised Hoosier with a Mom and Dad who owned small businesses back in my home town of Winamac, IN…we don’t give up.
My mom’s tag line for her flower shop was, “When words fail, flowers prevail.”
The word PREVAIL has never meant so much.
When it gets hard, we have to fight, and now it has never been more important to take care of yourself. When times get tough you can’t crawl into a hole of despair (we may want to), we keep fighting.
It has never been more real to take care of yourself, its easier to drink and eat and say forget. You and I both know your health never meant so much. Your mental health never meant so much.
Keep moving and taking care of your body.
Breathe…
We will keep you posted as our officials give us clear information. Thank you, thank you for all your support.
