Just like many other mothers out there JJ is a role model to her kids. She is the mother who gives it her all everyday for her children and makes sure that what she learns about fitness and nutrition is passed onto them.
JJ’s kids mean everything to her and she wants to be in their lives as long as she can. Keeping up with her kids when they are running around is a priority.
JJ’s advice to other mom’s is:
“Don’t forget about YOU! Yes kids are number one, but if mom is unhealthy, you can’t help your kids! Reorder priorities and make MOM #1 and kids #2! This took me awhile to get and be comfortable, but I’m a better Mom because of my training!!!”
Fiona chose to have kids later in life and at the age of 40 she was given the wonderful gift of twins, a boy and a girl.
It is important to Fiona that in order to keep up with her kids she is going to have to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Her dream is to see her kids grow up being fit, healthy, and be well balanced in life and in sports, so Fiona knew that if she wanted all of this for her kids she would have to set the example. When Fiona began her journey with TFW in October of 2014 she was not terribly overweight but had pretty low energy levels. Now, to this day her energy levels are up and even her demeanor as well and keeping up with her kids is no longer a problem.
Fiona’s advice to other mother’s out there is:
“Take time to lead a healthy life style. It’s so easy to put family or work or everything else first. Taking the time to go for a walk, smell the roses or simply get a pedi is important. Your family will appreciate the time you spend on yourself. It does make you feel so much better!”
