Many of you saw our FB Live videos yesterday, but we want to send a more formal communication through email this morning.
We sincerely appreciate all the much-needed love and support through this challenging time. Nothing like being told around 1pm (this communication was super vague and we had to seek clarification) you had to shut your business down by 8am the next day.
I can tell you there is no business playbook out there for what we are experiencing, but we knew something would eventually roll down so we have been preparing.
We have planned to take our business virtual to keep our members and employees safe and that time is here sooner rather than later.
Effective at 8am today we will run our workouts virtually till April 6. We will still hold our clients accountable through email/text/FB messenger and support you with your nutrition. This will not change how we deliver this support.
We are, however, adding in two support calls Tuesday and Thursday at 1pm. You will use the same video link to access these support calls.
Listen we get it. The gym is your release, it’s our release too. We need to stay strong not only with our bodies but with our minds. We need to continue to lift each other up and high five our wins even if it is through our screens. We encourage you to plug into minimum of one call per week.
We are better together and we will get through this.
We will run a condensed schedule of workouts via Zoom. Zoom is a video conferencing software that several are familiar with. I will provide the link later in the email. Zoom can be used via a laptop, desktop, tablet or via the Zoom app on your phone or iPad.
These workouts will be recorded and posted in our Private FB Group in case you cannot attend a live time or want to do your workout at different times. (trying to cover all our bases)
Our class schedule will be the following:
Monday – Thursday – 5:45am, 6:30am, Noon, 5:15pm and 6pm
Friday – 5:45am, 6:30am, Noon, 4:30pm and 5:15pm
Saturday – 9am
(we will make adjustments as needed to this schedule)
We have adjusted our programming so that you can workout in the comfort and safety of your own home. In the first week, we will be focusing more on primal moves/body weight. We promise you will still get your sweat on.
Then in the meantime, we are recommending purchasing a Red, Black and Green band from https://resistancebandtraining.com. You can purchase these bands on amazon, but the link provide has the best quality and durability. You can purchase handles as well; this is more of a preference.
How to set yourself up for your workout. You will want to test Zoom on your device and do the simple download of the software. Takes may 3 minutes to set up, but don’t wait till 5:40am to attempt this.
By clicking the link you will be prompted to download the software or if you already have the software or app downloaded you will enter the meeting ID:
Test this please and let us know if you are having trouble.
We recommend setting up your device so that we can see a full image of you if at all possible.
Listen, I still can’t believe I am deploying this version of our business, but we knew sooner rather than later we may be forced into this situation.
In times likes these you can hide at home and be scared or we can rally together, stay strong both physically and mentally.
We are choosing the latter and hope you will too. These upcoming weeks will be challenging no doubt, but let’s keep you on your routine. Don’t undo all the hard work you have been doing because of our current situation.
We got this.
Plug into our call at 1pm today, we need to support each other even more than ever.
Noon will be our first virtual workout, then plug into the support call at 1pm today!
See you online and keep washing your hands!
