I want to talk about why Diets don’t work.
Typically, they do not address the behavior.
Sure, we may alter your behavior for a certain period of time and that’s all great, you see results.
But then you go off the said plan or diet and we see the weight come back on.
If you crave sugar – why do you crave sugar?
If you always go through a drive-thru – why did you feel you needed to go to the drive-thru?
If you overate – why did you overeat?
If you always crave junk – why do you crave junk?
If you can step back and ask yourself, and be honest, you will start finding some clues.
I didn’t plan.
I didn’t eat all day.
I didn’t go to the grocery.
Everyone else was eating this or that.
But I’ll take it one more step back…why eat well in the first place?
What goals, desires do you have for you?
Do you hate who you see in the mirror?
Do you hate how you feel?
Tired of your clothes being too tight?
All this can change if you make one critical action happen.
Decide.
Decide you are done and you are ready to take action.
Then Why, why is this important to you.
What has to die in order for you to be successful?
Then we have to show up every day.
Not when you feel like it.
Results don’t just happen.
We show up every day and we win.
This does not mean it has to be perfect, but it does need to be consistent.
Decide, Find Your Why, then address the behavior.
End of story.
Go time!
And if you need help let me know.
This is all easier said than done and it’s ok to say you need a coach.
Also, it’s ok to invest in your health.
