A great coach of mine told me: “You are not your best, you are not your worst. You are the average of everything you do.
This holds true for most things in our life.
We can have really good workouts and we can have not so good workouts.
It is really the average of all the effort we put in day after day.
We are not our best meal we are not our worst meal.
It’s the average of all our meals.
We always coach clients that it’s a cheat meal, not a cheat day…in all sincerity that one meal does not determine your success.
Keep this in mind as you are working through each day, week, month and year.
We see our clients come in and rock a workout, then we see them come in and it’s a matter of getting through. Just remember you are not your best and you are not your worst workout.
Honor the wins, but understand we cannot always perform at the top, you will set yourself up for failure or let down. Struggling is part of the process. Keep your head up, tell someone if you are struggling and we keep getting after it day after day.
We will all have good days and bad days, keep putting in the consistent effort and you will see the effort start to add up.
You can apply this to all areas of your life. (For all my sales people out there…you are not your best month, you are not your worst month, week, etc.) Keep getting up and giving it your best, and it does not have to be perfect.
Consistency will always win.
Go win today!
