Too Many Experts…
We are littered with “experts” in this industry.
Honestly you can google open heart surgery and reasonably see how its done…but does that make you an expert?
I am being a bit funny, but its true. With information literally at our finger tips and remember anyone can put anything out there, we are littered with experts.
We take pride in the years of schooling we have been through and certifications that required our four-year degree.
Anyone can say they are a personal trainer with or without degrees or certifications.
Even massage therapists have regulations and requirements, but fitness…nothing.
Then the same is true for nutrition.
Just because your friend lost weight on said diet, doesn’t make them a nutrition expert. We are proud of them and most likely they reduced how many calories they consumed each day and you will certainly lose weight.
I write all this because we take pride in how we help people get results. Is it the only way? No, but we feel it is safe, time tested, and proven.
We understand what is happening in the body under load, overt-raining, when we change your nutrition, hormones, dietary issues, etc.
Our bodies are complex, and amazing.
Yes, we have to learn and research more than most think. Our undergrads are a couple classes away from a pre-med degree. (I know…I didn’t just play kickball all day.) 😉
You can trust that we have seen a lot over the 12 years in business and certainly 20+ years in the industry.
Risk for disease is constantly rising, how we treat our bodies, stress, nutrition, hydration, exercise all play HUGE roles in how we function.
It is important to educate yourself in all the options out there, but you can trust that we have been around the block a couple of times and this is a safe place.
Taking care of yourself is one thing you will never regret and let us know if we can help.
Have a wonderful day today,

Simple Rules for Eating
Happy Thanksgiving week!
I wanted to give you some simple rules to follow when it comes to eating.
I am sure you have read these before or it may seem like common sense but it is worth repeating.
1.) Eat Slowly
2.) Stop at 80% Full
3.) Eat Protein
4.) Eat Vegetables
I know each of these seems simple, but what is easy to do is easy not to do.
Think of the rainbow when planning foods.
Every diet that comes out claiming to be the latest greatest comes back to some simple principals. For most people it is the concept of following a plan, eating less and preparing more.
We become intentional about our food and thus see results.
Try not to over complicate your nutrition.
If following a rigid diet isn’t working, ditch it and try something new. You should not be miserable.
Do what works for you.
You get one body and it is worth it to take care of it.
If you need help, shoot me an email, I am here for you.
