1 Small Onion
3 Garlic Cloves
¼ C Dried Bread Crumbs (substitute ground oats for gluten free)
1 Large Egg
3 T Ketchup
1 t Salt
¼ t Ground Pepper
1 lb Ground Turkey, Chicken or Beef
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a sheet pan with tinfoil.
In a food processor put chopped onion and garlic and process until pureed, place into a bowl. In the bowl add in the egg, ketchup, salt and pepper with the onion and garlic, stir together. Add in the ground turkey meat and mix in thoroughly.
Use a small cookie scoop to portion out the meatballs onto the sheet pan. Bake for 20-30 minutes. Put cooked meatballs into a large pot on the stove and top with your favorite tomato sauce, simmer for 5 minutes then serve with wheat pasta, quinoa or mashed cauliflower.
