Today’s message is about Hope.
I will admit, I had a moment last Thursday. I have never put more than a weeks worth of groceries in our house.
I know, I know…
But the thing is we cook what we buy, eat it for the week then I go back to the store…wash, rinse, repeat.
I went in the store and my chest got tight.
The shelves were bare.
I kept pushing the cart around, no meat, no yogurt, no bread, no peanut butter…
What the heck is going on.
Then I saw the look in people’s eyes, they were scared. Rightfully so. Just typing this makes my chest tight.
I got what I could, bagged up my groceries and I sat in my car.
It felt like someone had me in a choke hold. I stopped and told myself to breath. 10, for real, belly breaths. I started to feel better.
My mind went so many places it didn’t need to. The trucks had not been unloaded and I went back the next day a bit earlier in the day and the shelves were reasonably restocked.
This is unfortunately the feeling some of us are having everyday.
We are 100% out of our routines, literally overnight. We have had to adapt to our crisis and to be honest, we are not good with change.
We have to remember, through this crisis, we have the availability of food. We all have stocked fridges, freezers and pantries. We have access to internet, TV, music and each other.
We have been told to stay home.
Continue to have hope.
Stay connected to loved ones, pick up the phone or FaceTime/Zoom family and friends.
Stay in abundance mindset vs scarcity.
Then continue to take care of yourself.
Wake up early, read something that will enrich your mind and fuel your mind or growth.
Move your body. We have all our workouts open and below is a link to get connected. Or go for a walk, jog, run…keep moving.
Eat to fuel your body…not boredom.
There is a really awesome video I will share with you by Hal Elrod. He is the creator of Miracle Morning, stay tuned.
Live well, live in abundance, have hope,
