Hope you are having a wonderful morning!
I think a lot about what I write each week and how it can impact just one person. I feel fortunate to have the ability and platform to bring motivational and inspirational content each week.
I also hope to be real and transparent.
Today I wanted to talk about determination.
This day, July 7th is a tough day for me. I felt it starting last night and thankfully I have learned enough over these last four years to better cope with the after-effects I still feel from our sons’ birth.
I am so thankful for the wonderful outcome for us both, and that we can truly celebrate the miracle he is tomorrow! Big number 4!
His birth was 100% determination.
I was not giving up and neither was he.
And that’s life.
We get the opportunity each day to get up and do what we are called to do and impact other lives. I know I am here today to share stories of grit, falling down, getting back up.
That road postpartum was no joke.
And I’ll be real, has left an edge to me.
I am thankful it is softening as the years go on and I am starting to appreciate the experience. It has taken a while to be able to write this freely about it.
But one thing I have learned is we all have a journey inside of us. We all navigate hardship; we fall down and we get back up. The road is never easy.
Just like your health and wellness goals.
We start fresh each day and pick away at it, working out, eating well, and balancing life.
It always takes longer than any of us would like and it takes determination.
As we worked through the barbell complex this a.m. I kept telling myself, you are strong and capable. Then we got to the two minutes of cardio, I chose the assault bike for some fun reason, and I reminded myself of his 55-hour birth…2 minutes was nothing after that!
Ha…there’s positives right…hope you are smiling.
I want you to know you can do whatever you are working on. Keep getting up each day with determination and as always ask for help.
You do not have to travel this journey alone. We all need coaches pushing and motivating us.
We are an email away and please reach out anytime.
Get after your day!
